How to start your own club |
Begin by contacting the farmer (Amos Miller at
717.556.0672).
Find drop off/pick up location, taking into consideration refrigeration and
privacy (this process needs discretion).
There is a 10 member minimum requirement.
Ordering can be done manually or via internet.
Maintaining a Club
Club Organizers will need to be responsible for the following:
Fielding emails from members (questions, concerns, etc)
Processing orders via fax to farmer (generally 5 days prior to delivery
date)
Handling ordering mistakes pre and post delivery
Sending out order reminders
Alerting members to farmer specials
Be available once a month on delivery day to receive order from truck and
then have members pick up
During member pickup, ensure number of boxes matching what's listed on
receipt
Collecting payment for food and mailing it to farmer
Filing receipt copy (original goes to member upon food pickup)
Handling renewals when appropriate |
